It may seem strange that one man — an impressionist, of all people — could have such an impact, but you have to understand the loss in Vegas terms. This wasn’t just anybody who died; this was Danny Gans.
The news of Danny Gans' passing is unbelievably shocking. Las Vegas has lost one of its best ambassadors. He was quite simply one of the greatest entertainers ever to step foot onto the stage. In my 27 years in Las Vegas, I have never seen anyone better.
Giving Back
Danny Gans was a major advocate of giving back to the community. During his time in Vegas he donated and raised over $2,000,000 for various charities in the Las Vegas area. The Danny Gans Foundation partnered with charities such as, The First Tee of Southern Nevada, Make-a-Wish, Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation and many more. A significant portion of the proceeds from the film will be used to reinvigorate the Danny Gans foundation. We will reestablish the celebrity golf tournament, grow the impact of the Danny Gans 5k run, and ensure that the youth in Nevada continue to be looked after by The Danny Gans Foundation through various charities.
